Problems of values by sportsmanlike youth

The graduation theses discourses the value survey of the youth in the Czech Republic. The aim of the survey was to find out and to compare the value preferences of sportsmanlike youth and unsportsmanlike youth. The survey unit is divided into 2 groups of respondents { sportsmanlike youth, unsportsmanlike youth). Schwartz Value Survey questionnaire (SVS) was used in order to identify the values and value types. The questionnaire was extended for the purposes of our research by three values that are associated with participating in sport. The three added values: mental and physical condition, active participation in sport, and physical attractivity. The extandet version of the questionnaire was re-valited for the Czech population (Kavalíř, 2003).
