Promoting health and maintaining an active lifestyle in the context of prevention of lifestyle diseases

The article introduces the reader with the prevention of lifestyle diseases. The introduction is devoted to the analysis of civilization diseases, the possibilities of prevention and health maintenance, a large part is devoted to the description of an active lifestyle. The authors present the importance of the faculty Centre of prevention of civilization diseases for disease prevention and for maintaining the health of the public. The empirical part is focuses on the analysis of key values measured in the Centre in 172 women and 51 men. Data analysis shows a higher attendance at the female population, it was represented by a lower age category than men. The results of the analysis of postpradial glucose values, total cholesterol and BMI are within the standard values. These measurements were performed for clients at the same time and under the same conditions. Only gender and age changed. Most of the values observed in 2012 corresponded to the normal range. For clients who have been found elevated values was carried out a targeted education.
