Movement activities in women and men in middle age - benefits and problems
- Univerzita Karlova v Praze, Fakulta tělesné výchovy a sportu
Present is characterized by a decline in physical and mental stress rise. Adequate physical intervention is one of the tools that can significantly affect the health and quality of life. The use of benefits can sort reduce the body mass, stot of the muscle mass loss, slowing deficit neuromuscular function, communication, improve mobility and subsequent quality of life. To calculate the negative of various high risk of injury due to the applied physical activity, the possible frustration of failing the required motor skills and movement performance and possible unmanageable financial intensity exercise intervention. After application of physical regimen based on walking for the duration of five months with an average energy intensity in 1 500 kcal/week, we employed a group of 58 healthy women, average age 42.7 ± 5.0 years and 42 fully employed men and 43.6 ± 4.9 year, we achieved a mean reduction of % fat 16.2 ± 2.3 % in women and 14.3 ± 2.0 % in men. About 2.7 ± 2.3 % and 2.1 ± 2.1 % increase in FFM; 14.9 ± 1.9 % and 15.2 ± 2.0 % improvement in VO2peak.kg-1; 12.5 ± 1.9 % and 10.9 ± 1.3 % increase in motor performance. All persons intervened adapted physical intervention mastered, without the need for a radical change current lifestyle and without intervention during the injury occurred. Physical activity based on walking with an energy intensity of 1 500 kcal/week are able to induce significant improvements in fitness and thus the quality of life of women and middle-aged men.
