The first reunion of Czechoslovak Orel in Brno 1922 - its preparations and course

The presented article deals with the history of the first reunion of Czechoslovak Orel which took place in Brno in 1922. After the WWI the Orel movement started to spread rapidly. After the Czech and Moravian headquarters were connected the united Orel organization, that wished to be spread in Slovakia and Ruthenia as well, was formed. The first exhibition of Orel maturity became the first reunion of Czechoslovak Orel. The reunion has been prepared in detail for several years. Its part were many different physical education, sports and cultural events. Some of them were even international. It was because during the reunion the Czechoslovak Orel was de facto a member of the UIOCEP organization that decided to connect its competitions in 1922 with the reunion in Brno.
