The history of the Catholic physical-educational organization Czechoslovak Orel in 1945-1948

The presented article deals with the history of Orel organization in 1945-1948. Czechoslovak Orel resumed its violent interrupted activities after the liberation of Czechoslovakia in May 1945 and successfully continued with them. Its membership has increased significantly again. The short free post-war period could be characterized as very happy for this organization. Unfortunately for Czechoslovak Orel, the efforts to unify of Czechoslovak physical education and sport into a unified organization showed again in the republic. But the members have always rejected these efforts. The process of unification eventually led to the abolition of Czechoslovak Orel, which could not resume with its activities for long decades.
