Creating a modern multimedia Sports Gymnastics Course Book and verification of the efficiency of its use in Education

This work deals with creating a modern multimedia sports gymnastics course book and with the verification of its use in the education of students at the Department of Physical Education, Faculty of Education, University of South Bohemia. As there had been significant differences in their presumptions to master the subject matter, students (both male and female) were based on an entry test divided into control and experimental groups. Training with the help of multimedia methodical materials was applied to lesson during two semesters of sports gymnastics education. At the end of the second semester, based on the evaluation of compulsory exercises, outlet tests were processed and the work hypothesis was verified by the method of single - factor experiment. Students were given a questionnaire to evaluate they attitude towards the new teaching methods. This relation proved to be very positive. The results confirmed the hypothesis of the increasing efficiency of the educational process along with introducing the new multimedia materials into the training system.
