The influence of selected factors on the performace of sport climbers
- Katedra sportů v přírodě UK FTVS v Praze, Praha, ČR
The two studies followed basic characteristics of the sport climbing performance. The first study focuses on the skillfullness of the performance climbers (competing in the Difficulty Climbing Czech Cup) and the length of their climbing practice. The number of test subjects was N = 18 (9 men and 9 women) with a minimal rock climbing performance - women 7a and men 7c according to the French rating scale - and the length of the climbing practice was at least 70 months. The results prove that the most significant factor is the length of the climbing practice. The second study describes the antrophometric characteristics of sport climbers competing in the Climbing Czech Cup. The number of test subjects was N = 36 ( 19 men, 4 women, 6 junior men, 7 junior women). Different somatic types were determined for the individual age cathegories: junior women - mezomorphic - ectomorphic (344); women - balanced mezomorphic (353); men and junior men - ectomorphic - mezomorphic (263, 264). The results show that the humerus epicondyle is developed above the average in all test subjects.
