Evaluation of the quality of sports gymnastics motoric skills at basic schools in České Budějovice

The aim of this work was to monitor the quality of motor skills in sports gymnastics at basic school in České Budějovice. It refers to the quality of education during school lessons. The research file was made out of approximately fifteen-year-old girls from six basic schools in České Budějovice. We always monitored two different classes tested at each school. To acquaint the details needed for further work, we used the testing method. This method takes very long time and it is hard to remain unbiased. Therefore we created a non standard pattern, where the students performed floor exercises, horizontal bar and vault. There were two motor skills evaluated in each discipline. We created an evaluation scale with seven grades for each skill. We interpreted the grades in the same way as school classification, so the best quality got the lowest number and the other way round. These data were processed into graphs and charts. The results show that only the vault disciplines - straddle vault and crouch vault meet the requirements, the other disciplines are usually non sufficient.
