Paper is focused on verification of construct validity of SVS (Schwartz Value Survey) questionnaire that was applied in research of senior's value orientation, Pěkný (2011) using a structure equation modeling (SEM). Original SVS was modified by reason that in former research, using an original model of SVS (Schwartz 1992) demonstrated only average to below-average fit model's values. Results of modified structure analysis show that value dimensions have acceptable value of generic reliability (value of McDonald's ω reached 0,643 up to 0,802) comparing to ESS (2004), except the value dimension of self-transcendence. Using an internal correlation of modified value dimension, we reached a similar results concerning to relations among value dimensions as Schwartz (1992) postulated: in circle construction, value dimensions Conservation/Openness to change and Self-transcendence/Self-enhancement demonstrate lower correlation than value dimensions Conservation/Self-enhancement and Self-transcendence/Openness to change; the reason is that value dimensions in second circle construction lie in opposite of themselves.
