- Jihočeská univerzita v Českých Budějovicích, Pedagogická fakulta, Katedra tělesné výchovy a sportu
Our study is focused on recognition of changes of chosen physical condition and somatic assumption at students of Physical Education and Sport at Pedagogical Faculty, South Bohemian University during one semester, when physical activity was increased by 137 % in average compared with the period before schooling. With the help of laboratory tests we compared changes of aerobic, anaerobic and somatic parameters. Eleven students at the age of 21.8±2.1 years, average weight 76.0±7.4 kg and height 180.2±7.2 cm and four women students at the age of 20.7±0.2 years, average weight 58.1±8.6 kg and height 165.8±9.7 cm took part in this study. During ten weeks reporting period, when schooling was taking place, these parameters were materially significant and statistically improved: VO2 max (by 3.74 %), FVC (by 12.83 %), AnC (by 4.35 %), maximum performance for 5 s.kg-1 (8.39 %), maximum performance.kg-1 (by 12,34 %), number of speed in Wingate test (by 2.41 %). Materially significant improvement occurred at VO2 .SF-1 (by 3.29 %). At following variables neither materially significant nor statistically significant changes occurred: BMI, the amount of body fat, the amount of body water, the amount of muscles, maximum heart rate, VE.VO2-1 and fatigue index.
