Movement activities of physical education teachers

The text is concerned with a question, if Czech physical education teachers have an active approach to sport and other movement acitivities and also if they engage in them in their leisure time. Other goal of the study was to compare population of these teachers in primary and secondary school and to find out signs of trend or some rule. The data from both groups of respondents were collected by a questionnaire and a research sample was chosen by a stratified proportional selection. The results make the evidence of visible differences between both teachers' groups and also say that some groups of teachers are not devoted to sport and movement activities in their leisure time much. Further, we find out the results that there are certain signs of a trend in the area of using different types of sport facilities.
