Studia Kinanthropologica 2021, 22(1):7-12
Even on a lower level of tennis tournament, a player has a very short time to hit an incoming ball as the ball travels quickly and has various ball trajectory. The aim is to compare the rally pace and selected match characteristics between the clay and hard court at the lower level of international tennis tournaments. We compare two ITF Men's World Tennis Tour tournaments - the Milovice Open (hard court) and the RPM Open (clay court). We analysed 1629 points in 15 matches at the Milovice Open and 1296 points in 10 matches at RPM Open. The results showed that the rally pace was significantly faster at the Milovice Open (1,27 ± 0,05 s) compared...
Comparison of the internal response of the organism to diagonal striding and double poling
A. Čechová, J. Suchý
Studia Kinanthropologica 2021, 22(1):13-19
The aim of the study is to determine and compare the difference between double poling and diagonal walking in terms of internal load and time in two consecutive days on roller skis. Each day probands participated in a classical style time trial, while one half of probands started with double poling and other with diagonal striding technique. The next day groups switched-Cross verification. Methods: Field research carried out on the basis a comparison of values: lactate (LA) and heart rate (SF) after load, during calm down and time. The probands completed about 8 minutes long part of uphill on roller skis. Probands: active cross-country skiers...

Studia Kinanthropologica 2021, 22(1):21-29
The use of verbal instructions is a common tool to improve motor learning and performance. Current results show, that providing instructions that focus an athlete's attention externally (directed at the movement effect), rather than internally (directed at the athlete's body movements), generally result in enhanced motor skill performance. This study provides a comprehensive review of the existing literature which examined the influence of verbal attentional focusing instructions in swimming. The aim of the study was to find out what kind of instructions are suitable for motor learning and swimming performance. Analysis has shown that most of the available...
Basic properties of the tool assessing the level of adopted curriculum Health education
T. Polívka, L. Fialová
Studia Kinanthropologica 2021, 22(1):31-35
As a part of the curriculum reform, new educational programmes were introduced. However, it has been fifteen years since the beginning of the reform and there is still lacking a feedback that would assess the level of the acquired curriculum of the Education for Health programme. The article thus concerns basic properties of such a tool. The tool was tested on 37 primary school graduates. The main output will consist in data on internal consistency, validity and objectivity of a didactic test. To calculate the internal consistency the Cronbach alpha coefficient was used. To ensure validity Rasch's model for dichotomic items and item analysis was used....
Comparison of air bikes and their effect on selected physiological parameters
P. Schlegel, A. Křehký, M. Taufmann
Studia Kinanthropologica 2021, 22(1):37-42
The air bike has become a widespread cardio machine used by the general population and performance athletes. The individual types have a different construction design, and the firmware for exporting information is not unified either. The aim of the research was to compare three air bikes (Assault, Echo, Beast) in a similar price relation using physiological responses, RPE, and exported data. The research group consisted of 10 physically active men (26.7 years). All completed a test protocol on each air bike, containing three parts with different intensity requirements. Air bikes varied in distance traveled and calorie value. In contrast, physiological...

This article focuses on the emergence of spontaneous and subsequently organized tourism carried on by the inhabitants of České Budějovice (Budweis), both in their close and distant surroundings. During the period under review, Budweiser tourism gradually developed...
